Undergraduate Internships

Each semester, up to 4 undergraduate students work in the Nano Sensors Group as research interns for course credit. Before the start of the semester, interested students meet with Prof. Cunningham to discuss their interests and to determine the topic for a project. Students are assigned a graduate student mentor to help get them started, and to answer questions that come up in the lab. Students are responsible for generating a project outline for the semester, writing short weekly progress reports, writing a final report, and giving a presentation to the Nano Sensors Group at the end of the semester. Students are also encouraged to participate in the undergraduate research symposium, where they can give a presentation on their work to other ECE students.
